Practising Molly's design

The day I practised Molly's make up design, I also practised her hair design hence why I hair looks Elizabethan.

I started with applying a base of foundation with a bit of white foundation. I decided I hadn't put enough white in, so I added more.

Once I was happy with the foundation, I went onto the eyes/eyebrows.
I applied a dark purple in the corners of the eyes and smudged out. I then applied a gold eyeshadow to the middle of the eyelid and the inside corner of Molly's eye. I then used a mascara wand and applied white foundation to her eyes rows and eyes lashes. With the eyebrows I pushed the foundation all the way to bottom of her eyebrows then roughly moved them around to give it a mess look. With the eyelashes I just applied the foundation like I would if I was applying mascara.

I then went onto contour Molly's face. For this she wanted it to be purple to stick with her theme. I used our eyeshadows from our kit and scraped out a dark purple. With my contour brush I applied gentle and built it up till it look nicely defined.

With the lips I mixed a nude and light pink colour. I applied to the lips then with a gold foil eyeshadow I dabbed gently on the middle of the lips to finish the look.

Overall I'm really happy with the practise run I did with Molly. I completed it under the time limit we gave ourselves and didn't have to change anything whilst practising. Molly was happy with it and excited for the real thing.
I was worried I wouldn't be able to do it because it wasn't my design but I kept in contact with Molly the whole time and we aired any doubts during practise sessions. I was really happy to have Molly as a partner as we shared the same worries and helped each other through any problems.
