Perfect eyes and lips

Today's lesson we practise the perfect eyeshadow and lips.

We were given a list of different eye shapes and had to see which our partners (and ourselves) eye shape had.

I decided Nicole had big eyes and set off on applying eyeshadow.

I started off with picking a light pink eyeshadow and applied to the inside corner of her eye and spread to the middle of her eye. I applied a slightly darker eyeshadow to the middle and blended them together. To finish the look, I applied a dark eyeshadow on the corner  and gave it a winged look. I also blended it into the crease of her eyelids.

I then used Urban Decay Perversion mascara. With our own mascara wands I dipped it into the mascara and applied downwards on her eyelashes.
I then applied pushed the eyelashes up with the mascara wand. Her eyelashes were already naturally long but with this mascara they looked gorgeous.

Moving onto the lips, Nicole naturally had plumped lips so it was easy to apply the lipstick. I picked a nice pale pink lipstick and with my lip brush I glided it on to her lips. With her colour skin tone, the light pink worked really well.

Overall I'm really confident with applying eyeshadow and lipstick onto other people. Learning all these techniques makes me excited for future lessons when we go into more depth with the products we use.
