Bess of Hardwick

We were told to pick from a selection of woman to who would base of character on. I picked Bess of Hardwick.

Hardwick is famous for:

•  Marrying four husbands, each one richer than the last, 
• And as a moneylender, property dealer, exploiter of iron works, coal mines, and glass works, she ended up the richest woman in England after the Queen. 
• She built Chatsworth House and Hardwick Hall.
• She was always seen as second best to Queen Elizabeth 1.

I liked Bess of Hardwick because:

- Strong/Independent Woman 

- Ambitious 

- Stunning

- Mischievous

Because she was seen as second best, I thought one of my ideas as almost perfect. The make-up would look great but one thing would be imperfect (either lips or eyes).
