But I quickly learnt that you have to embrace that feeling and just get on with it. You are all in the same boat and feeling the same feeling. We started our first day with the basic introductions 'Hi may name is.. I'm from...." and we had also been asked over the summer to create a mood board that shows were we would like to be in 5 years time.
On the second day we sat down and were told we had to create our alter ego on a brown paper bag. It was almost laughable till I saw the magazines, colour paper and glitter at the front of the class. Ready to do anything, I headed to front and collected the items I would need.
I must admit I did go slightly off course with my alter-ego but deep down I still know I will be batwoman one day.
We were then sent off to go round the city and take photos of things that stood out to us. It could be from funky graffiti to a sign on a lampost. But we had to make sure it was in black and white.
The third day was exciting as we had illamasqua come in and discuss the latest looks with their make-up. They also had enough time to demonstrate a look on two people. (I was lucky enough to be one of those people). The stylish look was based on an Indian Spring Festival of Colors that is celebrated each year at the approach of the vernal equinox.

During the demonstration they used a product called hydro-veil. It's a great product that helps hydrates the skin and is a good base before you put foundation on. It's a product I will definitely put on my christmas list this year.
On the fourth day we had a lesson on how to start our blogs. As you can tell I've already become a pro at writing on and on about everything. We then had Charles Fox come in and talk about what we had in our kit and what each product was used for (or when they used the products). They also did a demonstration on how to do an evening look. The end result was truly amazing. The lucky girl to be chosen looked stunning at the end with a nice smokey eye.
We thankfully had Friday off, can I get a hallelujah.
